I actually enjoyed the storyline although it felt familiar. The author has his own unique way of telling the story which I appreciated. Of course I'm left with questions but I'm hoping to get them answered in part 2 (yes, I will be reading part 2). Now for the not so good part...The editing and characters names were off. The story flowed but those issues caused me to reread paragraphs until they made sense. I actually give the story a 3.5 star review and if the names weren't mixed up, it would be a 4 star read to me. I hope part 2 keeps my attention like this one did and that the editing is better so the author can receive the credit the story is due!Product details

Good read so far I can't wait for the real action and drama unfolds I gave u a four star for now I sure when I read the other three books they will be five stars
I know it was just part 1 but I thought it was still pretty good. Can't wait to read part 2.
I can't even call this a book, more like a short story, is a pretty decent read. There are problems with spelling, punctuation, and word usage, but all in all, you can still enjoy the book.
I am noticing a trend with authors where they take a book, break it up into segments, and sell them separately. So, instead of purchasing the complete book, you are purchasing chapters. I will not support an author that does that. If the book is less than a hundred pages, how can you call it a book? No matter how much I liked part 1 of Slumped, I refuse to spend more money on a few chapters at a time. When all is said and done, I wll have spent close to ten bucks for a book that is only worth ninety nine cents. Not a good look.
I liked the pace of the story and how it began. Then as I kept reading and found myself unable to put it down until I knew what happened next. I read this story praying those girls make it in the end. Key lesson will be....always finish what you start. Don't leave no witnesses. Live and learn
Slump involved what every Street story does sex, drugs, violence, & lots of drama. He said (like most dough boys/drug dealers) what most say, "I'm getting in to make this money and then I'm out." But nothing ever goes as planned, when you live life in the streets. The book was pretty good, but Mr. Brent needs to develop a more rounded story & get with a good editor, to make this a 5***** book!
Typical tale of bad boy, good son, trying to escape the streets which continues to pull him back in.....BUT COULD YOU PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT ALL THE TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS. The ERRORS make it hard to enjoy the story because they interrupt the flow. Looking forward to reading the next installment of Slumped.
Its a good beginning but too short. Parts 1 & 2 could have been one. There are alot of grammatical errors in it so you are left trying to figure out what's being said. Because i got into it, i will read part 2.
